New CRASHDÏET album is out and a European tour upcoming!

Crashdïet is back with their sixth studio album Automaton, which is released today, April 29, both physically and digitally. As if that wasn’t enough, the album's third single Powerline also is released today with accompanying video and both the song and the video is featuring Michael Starr from the American cult band Steel Panther. On Wednesday, May 4, Crashdïet kicks off their major European tour with the opening night at Debaser in Stockholm. Automaton is released through Crusader Records, produced by A.W. Nine (Hank von Hell, Santa Cruz among others) and it’s recorded, mixed and mastered by Oskar Nilsson at Studio Crehate in Gothenburg. As the first two singles (No Man's Land and Together Whatever) already have indicated, Crashdïet hasn’t held back this time – this album is bombastic and very elaborate with twelve potential hits. Today's single release Powerline with accompanying video is no different, but it’s also spiced up with guest vocals and video performance from Micheal Starr, lead singer in the acclaimed cult band Steel Panther from Los Angeles. All killer, no filler. Today, April 29, on a digital platform or in a record store near you. You will not be disappointed. After the pandemic, it’s an understatement that the band is extremely excited to finally be able to perform for the fans, so it’s a true pleasure for Crashdïet to announce that they will go on a major European tour with 21 gigs coming up. Due to personal reasons, drummer Eric Young has chosen to temporarily hand over the drumsticks to Lacu Lahtinen (ex-Hanoi Rocks among others) - see separate statement about this on the band's website. The Finnish rock band Shiraz Lane joins the whole tour as special guests. Velvet Insane from Sweden and King Zebra from Switzerland are invited as support acts. The opening night will be held at Debaser in Stockholm on Wednesday, May 4, then the tour lasts until June. Let the party begin!
