Today, March 5, it became official that the young thrash metal band Eradikated are Swedish Grammy nominees in the category Hard Rock/Metal of the Year for their debut album Descendants (Indie Recordings), which was released on October 6, 2023. All music on the album is written by the band's lead guitarist Ragnar Östberg and all lyrics are written by the band's singer and guitarist Elvin Landaeus Csizmadia. The album is produced by the band itself and recorded by Ragnar Östberg in his studio East Hill Audio. Other nominees in the same category are none other than Ghost, In Flames, Marduk and Tribulation. The Swedish Grammy Awards will take place at Annexet in Stockholm on May 8 and will be broadcast live on YouTube.
